Definitions
'App' means the applications CareGiving App: Recipient and CareGiving App: Caregiver, both individually and collectively, including co-branded versions.

'Site' means the website www.caregivingapp.com, other properties in the caregivingapp.com domain and co-branded websites.

'Services' mean the services made available on the Site or through use of the App.

'Care Recipient' means a person who is registered for an account with CareGiving App as a 'Care Recipient'.

'Administrator' means a person authorized by a Care Recipient to have full access to and control over the Care Recipient's account and the information contained therein.

'Caregiver' means a person who is registered for an account with CareGiving App as a 'Caregiver'.

'Supervisor' means a person who, as part of his or her employment or other business arrangement with the Care Recipient's insurance company, hospital, physician or other such provider of medical care or healthcare affiliate, has access to and control over a Care Recipient's account and the information contained therein.

'CareGiving Network' means a Care Recipient, his or her Caregiver(s), and his or her Administrator and/or Supervisor, if any.

Information Collected About You
1. Personally Identifiable Information. CareGiving App is a personalized service and collects personally identifiable information from you. Personally identifiable information means any information that may be used to identify you, including, but not limited to, your name and email address. You provide us with this personally identifiable information by registering for or updating an account with CareGiving App. We use this personally identifiable information to identify each authorized user, provide and improve our services, customize your user experience, secure your account, and prevent fraud. We also use your email address to communicate with you about our services, but you may choose to opt out of these mailings at any time. WE DO NOT SHARE PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION WITH THIRD PARTIES. The only exception is when we believe we are required to do so by applicable law.

2. CareGiving Network Private Content. CareGiving Network Private Content includes non-healthcare related information, including, but not limited to, calendar entries, journal entries, shopping list items, and physician, hospital, and pharmacy information, that you voluntarily submit to CareGiving App while logged into your account. CareGiving Network Private Content is accessible only to you and other members of your CareGiving Network. WE DO NOT SHARE CAREGIVING NETWORK PRIVATE CONTENT WITH ANY THIRD PARTY OUTSIDE OF YOUR CAREGIVING NETWORK. We may provide third parties, such as advertisers, aggregated non-personally identifying information from your CareGiving Network Private Content.

3. Care Recipient Private Content. Care Recipient Private Content includes a Care Recipient's healthcare related information that a Care Recipient, Administrator, or Supervisor voluntarily submits to CareGiving App while logged into his or her respective account. Care Recipient Private Content includes vital signs, weight, and medication information. Care Recipient Private Content is accessible only by the Care Recipient and, where applicable, his or her Administrator and/or Supervisor. Care Recipient Private Content is not accessible by any other members of a Care Recipient's CareGiving Network or by any other third party. WE DO NOT SHARE CARE RECIPIENT PRIVATE CONTENT WITH ANY THIRD PARTIES OTHER THAN THOSE PERSONS TO WHOM SUCH CONTENT IS ACCESSIBLE AS SPECIFIED IN THIS SECTION. We may provide third parties, such as advertisers, aggregated non-personally identifying information from your Care Recipient Private Content.

4. Non-Personally Identifiable Information. CareGiving App may collect non-personally identifiable information from you as you use the App, Site, and/or Services. CareGiving App may automatically record information based on your account activity and use of the App, Site, and/or Services. We do this to improve our service, and to customize content and advertising. We may use third parties to help us analyze non-personally identifiable information we obtain from you, and we generally place restrictions on those third parties' use of such information. Third parties may also use the non-personally identifiable information for their business purposes, such as to report aggregate, non-personally identifiable information about the use of their services and technologies in connection with the Services.

CareGiving App collects the following types of non-personally identifiable information, which we may share with third parties that help us operate the App, Site, and/or Services, such as advertisers, ad serving vendors, and business partners.

Aggregated Data. CareGiving App collects user information and content, including CareGiving Network Private Content and Care Recipient Private Content, in the aggregate as you use the App, Site, and/or Services to analyze our overall user demographics and usage patterns. Aggregate data does not contain any personally identifiable information.

Server Logs. CareGiving App may collect information from our server logs. These logs may include information such as your Internet Protocol address, browser details, the date and time of your request and certain information about your usage of our site and service.

Cookies. We may place a text file called a 'cookie' on your computer. This cookie does not contain personal information and cannot retrieve personal information from your computer. Cookies enable us to relate your use of the site and services to information that you have specifically and knowingly provided. CareGiving App may use cookies to track user traffic patterns, analyze our overall user demographics and usage patterns, serve advertising and to authenticate you on to the service. You can refuse cookies by turning them off in your browser, but in doing so you may not be able to use the web version of our service.

Links. CareGiving App may track whether links to external Web sites are followed.

Sharing or Transferring Information to Third Parties
It is our policy not to share any information collected by us that is personally identifiable to you with third parties, except when we believe we are required to do so by applicable law. We may share non-personally identifiable information with third parties as described above.

CareGiving App does not have control over the privacy policies of advertisers or other third-party websites. There may be links to other websites and pages provided by third parties on the App or Site. Similarly, advertisements typically link to third-party websites. An advertiser may receive the information you enter into a form or survey contained in an advertisement. Any personal information you enter is provided directly to that third party and is subject to that third party's privacy policy.

In the event of a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, sale of all or substantially all of CareGiving App's assets, or other similar transaction, customer information (including your personally identifiable information, CareGiving Network Private Content, and Care Recipient Private Content) may be transferred to another entity. The new entity would be required to protect all of the information that CareGiving App has collected from its users under the same terms of this Privacy Policy.

Accessing or Modifying Your Information
You may access, review and modify your personally identifiable information, CareGiving Network Private Content, and, where applicable, Care Recipient Private Content at any time by logging into your account.

Security
CareGiving App uses several industry best standard methods of securing user information and data, and we maintain administrative safeguards to protect the information that we collect. However, there is always some risk that an unauthorized third party may breach our security systems or that transmissions of your information may be intercepted.

The App, Site, and Services are not designed or intended to attract children under the age of thirteen, and CareGiving App does not collect information from any person we actually know is under the age of thirteen. By accessing the Site, registering for or using an account, or otherwise using the App, Site and/or Services, a user agrees that he or she is at least eighteen years of age pursuant to the Terms of Use.

Changes to This Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to change or modify this Privacy Policy at any time, and any changes will be effective upon being posted unless we advise otherwise. If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy we will notify you by email and/or by means of a notice on the App and Site prior to the change becoming effective. We encourage you to periodically review the App and Site for the latest information on our privacy practices. If you do not accept the terms of this Privacy Policy, do not register for an account with CareGiving App, use the App, Site, and/or Services, or visit, browse, or otherwise access the Site.
